Set cancellation and rescheduling rules

ExpertBox is committed to helping you make the most of your time. That’s why we allow you to decide if your clients can reschedule appointments, how far in advance your clients can cancel and reschedule, and if they can get a refund when canceling an appointment.  

You’ll be asked to set these rules when you create a service, but you can always change them later. Here’s how: 

  1. Go to Services > All services
  2. Find the service you want to edit rules for and click the three-dot icon on the far right.
  3. Choose Edit.

  4. Go to Settings and scroll down to see the cancellation and reschedule rules.
  5. Toggle to allow or disallow rescheduling and refunds for cancellations.
  6. Set the minimum lead time to prevent last-minute cancellations and rescheduling.

  7. Click Save.
Keep in mind: Cancellation and rescheduling rules are the same for all experts and appointments for a given service.
