Delete files from chat

When files you’ve shared are no longer needed, you can delete them from ExpertBox to save storage space in your workspace. There are two ways to delete a file:

• From the chat  
• From the Files section

Keep in mind: If you exceed your storage limit, older files will be deleted automatically. To get more space, you can upgrade your storage plan. 

What to expect

• Chat members can delete only files they’ve shared.
• Once deleted, files cannot be restored.

Delete files from a chat

1. In the chat, hover over the name of the file you want to delete.
2. Click the three-dot icon to the right of the file name.
3. Click Delete.
   

4. Select Delete once again to confirm.

Delete from the Files section

1. Click the three-dot icon in the top right of the chat window and select Files.

2. Hover over the file you want to delete and click the three-dot icon.
3. Click Delete.

4. Select Delete again to confirm.
