Cancel an appointment

Plans change. If you can’t have a meeting, you can reschedule or cancel it and we’ll notify your expert straightaway. Keep reading to learn how to cancel an appointment.

There are two ways to cancel an appointment:

  1. from the Appointments tab
  2. from the Chat

Keep in mind: Some services may not be refundable. You’ll see information about a service’s refund policy when making a booking, and you can always write a message to your expert to clarify.

Tip: If your appointment is not refundable, try rescheduling it instead.

From the Appointments tab

On the web

  1. Go to the Appointments tab and find the appointment you want to cancel in the list of upcoming appointments.
  2. Click the three-dot icon and choose Cancel appointment.

  1. Write a message to explain to the expert why you’re rescheduling, then click Cancel appointment to confirm.

On mobile

  1. Go to Appointments and find the appointment you want to cancel in the list of upcoming appointments.
  2. Tap the three-dot icon and choose Cancel appointment.

  1. Write a message to explain to the expert why you’re cancelling, then tap Cancel appointment to confirm. 

From the Chat

On the web

  1. Go to Chats and open the chat with the expert with whom you have an appointment you wish to cancel.
  2. Click the three-dot icon next to the Join meeting button or on the appointment card in the chat.
  3. Choose Cancel appointment.

  1. Write a message to explain to the expert why you’re cancelling and click Cancel appointment to confirm.
