Reschedule an appointment

Plans change. If you can’t have a meeting, you can reschedule or cancel it and we’ll notify your expert straightaway. Keep reading to learn how to reschedule an appointment.

There are two ways to reschedule an appointment:

Keep in mind: Rescheduling may be disabled or be possible only within a limited time frame for some services. If rescheduling is unavailable, you can cancel the appointment instead.

From the Appointments tab

On the web

  1. Go to Appointments.
  2. In the list of upcoming appointments, find the one you want to reschedule and click the three-dot icon.
  3. Choose Reschedule appointment.

  1. Select a new date and time to meet your expert, then click Next.

  1. Write a message to explain to the expert why you’re rescheduling, then click Reschedule to confirm. 

On mobile

  1. Go to Appointments.
  2. In the list of upcoming appointments, find the one you want to reschedule and tap the three-dot icon.
  3. Choose Reschedule appointment.

  4. Select a new date and time to meet your expert, then tap Next.

  1. Write a message to explain to the expert why you’re rescheduling, then tap Next.

From the Chat

On the web

  1. Go to Chats. 
  2. Select the chat with the expert with whom you wish to reschedule an appointment.
  3. Click the three-dot icon next to the Join meeting button or on the appointment card in the chat window.
  4. Choose Reschedule appointment.


  1. Select a new date and time to meet your expert, then click Reschedule.

  1. Write a message to explain why you need to reschedule and click Reschedule to confirm.

On mobile

  1. Go to Chats. 
  2. Select the chat with the expert with whom you wish to reschedule an appointment.
  3. Click the three-dot icon next to the Join meeting button or on the appointment card in the chat window.
  4. Choose Reschedule appointment.

  1. Choose a new date and time for your appointment and tap Next.

  1. Write a message to explain to the expert why you’re rescheduling, then tap Next
