Monthly subscription fee: what’s in it
You have the right to know exactly what you’re paying for. To make everything fair and square, we’ve prepared a detailed cost breakdown of your monthly subscription fee. It consists of two parts:
- Prepaid payment. This is the amount charged on the first day of your billing period for your ExpertBox subscription and is paid in advance (before you use the services you’re paying for).
- Due payment. This amount is charged on the first day of the next billing period if you’ve upgraded your plan or used extra services during the current billing period.
Prepaid payments
Your monthly fee will always include:
- The price of your subscription plan
For team workspaces, this price will be multiplied by the number of people on your team. - The price of your storage package
By default, every workspace includes 1 GB of free storage space per team member. However, you can choose a bigger storage package if needed.
Due payments
Sometimes, your monthly fee may also include due payments. These are fees for extra services you’ve used during the past billing period. Here are the extra services you can be billed for:
Extra video call hours | If you’ve exceeded your video call hours limit, you’ll be charged $1 for every extra hour (billed by the minute). |
Subscription upgrade | You’ll pay this fee only if you’ve upgraded during the past billing period. If you have, we’ll recalculate your subscription price based on the number of days left in your billing period after the upgrade. |
Storage package upgrade | You’ll pay this fee only if you’ve upgraded during the past billing period. If you have, we’ll recalculate your subscription price based on the number of days left in your billing period after the upgrade. |
Team seats upgrade | You’ll pay this fee only if you’ve upgraded during the past billing period. If you have, we’ll recalculate your subscription price based on the number of days left in your billing period after the upgrade. |
