Cancel or reschedule an appointment
Plans change. If you can’t have a meeting, you can cancel it or ask your client to reschedule. Your client will get an email notification about the cancellation or reschedule request.
Keep in mind: Workspace owners and administrators can cancel or reschedule any appointments within the workspace. Experts can make changes only to their appointments.
Cancel an appointment
- Go to Appointments.
- On the calendar, select the appointment you would like to cancel.
- Click the three-dot icon on the appointment card and choose Cancel appointment.
- Write a message explaining the reason for cancellation to your client, then click Cancel to confirm.
Keep in mind: If you collected payment via ExpertBox for an appointment you cancel, your client will get a full refund.
Reschedule an appointment
- Go to Appointments.
- On the calendar, select the appointment you would like to reschedule.
- Click the three-dot icon on the appointment card and choose Request reschedule.
- Write a message explaining why you’re asking your client to reschedule, then click Send request.
