Cancel or reschedule an appointment

Plans change. If you can’t have a meeting, you can cancel it or ask your client to reschedule. Your client will get an email notification about the cancellation or rescheduling request.

There are two ways to cancel or reschedule:

From the Appointments page

Cancel an appointment

  1. Go to Appointments.
  2. On the calendar, select the appointment you would like to cancel.
  3. Click the three-dot icon on the appointment card and choose Cancel appointment.

  1. Write a message explaining the reason for cancellation to your client, then click Cancel appointment to confirm.

Reschedule an appointment

  1. Go to Appointments. 
  2. On the calendar, select the appointment you would like to reschedule.
  3. Click the three-dot icon on the appointment card and choose Reschedule appointment

  4. Write a message explaining why you’re asking your client to reschedule, then click Reschedule to confirm.

Keep in mind: Your client can decline your request or choose another time from your schedule. Read this guide to learn how to set your working hours.
Tip:  If your client declines a reschedule request, you can cancel an appointment.

From the Meeting page 

Cancel an appointment

  1. Go to Appointments. 
  2. On the calendar, select the appointment you would like to cancel.
  3. Click View meeting page on the appointment card.

Click the three-dot icon next to the Join meeting button or on the appointment card in the chat.

  1. Choose Cancel appointment.

  1. Write a message explaining the reason for cancellation to your client, then click Cancel appointment to confirm.

Reschedule an appointment

  1. Go to Appointments. 
  2. On the calendar, select the appointment you would like to reschedule.
  3. Click View meeting page on the appointment card.

  1. Click the three-dot icon next to the Join meeting button or on the appointment card in the chat.
  2. Choose Request reschedule.


  3. Write a message explaining why you’re asking your client to reschedule, then click Send request to confirm.
