Cancel or reschedule an appointment

Plans change. If you can’t have a meeting, you can cancel it or ask your client to reschedule. Your client will get an email notification about the cancellation or reschedule request. 

Keep in mind: Workspace owners and administrators can cancel or reschedule any appointments within the workspace. Experts can make changes only to their appointments.

Cancel an appointment

  1. Go to Appointments.
  2. On the calendar, select the appointment you would like to cancel.
  3. Click the three-dot icon on the appointment card and choose Cancel appointment.

  1. Write a message explaining the reason for cancellation to your client, then click Cancel to confirm.

Keep in mind:  If you collected payment via ExpertBox for an appointment you cancel, your client will get a full refund.

Reschedule an appointment

  1. Go to Appointments. 
  2. On the calendar, select the appointment you would like to reschedule.
  3. Click the three-dot icon on the appointment card and choose Request reschedule

  4. Write a message explaining why you’re asking your client to reschedule, then click Send request.

Keep in mind: Your client can decline your reschedule request or choose another time from your schedule. Read this guide to learn how to  set your working hours.
Tip:  If your client declines a reschedule request, you can still cancel the appointment.
