Invite people to the appointment I booked

ExpertBox lets you invite people to join an appointment you’ve booked. If your appointment should involve several participants, you can share a video call link with them. Guests can join a call with a single click via their browser without logging in or downloading anything. Keep reading to learn how to:

What to expect:

  • Both the client who booked the appointment and the expert with whom the appointment has been booked can invite guests to join the call.
  • Guests get a link to a video call that will become available 15 minutes before the appointment starts.
  • There can be up to 12 people on a call simultaneously.
  • Guests can’t cancel or reschedule appointments to which they’ve been invited.

Invite guests before the appointment

To invite other people to join your appointment, you need to have an ExpertBox account. Once you’ve created an account and logged in to ExpertBox, you can invite people to join the video call. Here’s how to do that:

  1. Go to the Appointments tab and find the appointment you want to invite people to in the list of upcoming appointments.
  2. Click the Invite icon.

  1. There are two ways to share a video call link:
  • Click Copy link to copy the invitation link and share it with people in any convenient way.

  • Send an email with a video call link and an invitation to join the call. To do this, enter the email addresses of the people you want to invite and click Send invitation link.

Invite guests to a video call that’s already started

Keep in mind: Only the client who booked the appointment and the expert with whom the appointment is booked can invite people to join the call.

You can invite people to join a video call even after it has started. Here’s how:

  1. In the video call, click the Add people icon in the bottom right corner.

  1. Share a video call link with guests. There are two ways to do it:
  • Click Copy link to copy the invitation link and share it with people in any convenient way.

  • Send an email with a video call link and an invitation to join the call. To do this, enter the email addresses of the people you want to invite and click Send invitation link.
