Accept or decline a reschedule request

Plans change, and sometimes an expert may ask you to reschedule an appointment. If this happens, you’ll get an email notification and will be able to choose a new time for your meeting. 

Keep in mind: To reschedule or cancel your appointment, you need to have an ExpertBox account

Once you’ve created an account and logged in to ExpertBox, you can accept or decline a reschedule request. Here’s how to do it:

To accept a reschedule request:

  1. Go to the Appointments tab and click on the appointment with a Reschedule requested badge.
  2. Click Select new time below the message from the expert.
  1. Select a new date and time and click Next.

  2. Click Reschedule again to confirm.

To decline a reschedule request:

If you can’t have a meeting at another time, you can decline the reschedule request. In this case, your appointment time will stay the same.

Keep in mind: The expert might still cancel the appointment.

Here’s how to decline the reschedule request:

  1. Go to the Appointments tab and click on the appointment with a Reschedule requested badge.
  2. Click Decline below the message from the expert.
  1. Select Decline again to confirm.
