Deactivate your account

When you stop using an ExpertBox account that belongs to a team workspace, it’s a good idea to deactivate your account so that clients can’t book appointments with you. This won’t delete any of your data, messages, or files, and you’ll regain access to them once your account is reactivated.

Keep in mind: Deactivated accounts can be reactivated only by a workspace owner or administrator.

Keep in mind: Individual workspace accounts can’t be deactivated.

If you want to delete your account permanently, you’ll need to contact your workspace owner or administrator.

What to expect:

  • Your account can be deactivated by you or by your workspace owner/administrator.
  • Your account will be deactivated immediately.
  • Once your account is deactivated, you won’t be able to log in to the workspace.
  • You can’t deactivate your account if you have active upcoming appointments. You’ll need to cancel or complete them first.
  • Workspace owner accounts can’t be deactivated. If you’re a workspace owner, you’ll need to transfer ownership first.

Deactivate your account

Here’s how to deactivate your account:

  1. Click your workspace name in the top right corner of the screen.
  2. Select Account Settings from the menu.

  3. In the Account status section, click Deactivate my account.

  1. Click Yes, deactivate my account to confirm.

Your account will be deactivated immediately, and you’ll be logged out of the workspace.

Keep in mind: After deactivating your account, you won’t be able to log in to the workspace until an administrator or workspace owner reactivates your account.
